A quick introduction to Awesome Institute Executive Coach Jenny Clevidence
Jenny Clevidence is one of those rare professional chameleons that has worked in nearly every major industry and on a wide variety of teams. In addition to her unique ability to understand the many challenges leaders face in their different careers, Jenny brings a decade of experience with organizational change consulting to her work as an executive coach. She is passionate about what she does, and she isn’t afraid to take on clients with so-called “challenging personalities.”
Jenny’s clients describe her as having a quiet strength — a calming presence paired with the ability to hold clients accountable. This is something that Jenny brought to her work, long before she pursued a leadership coaching program. Her first “client” wasn’t really a coaching client at all.
When Jenny worked for a small regional bank in Ohio that was implementing a new computerized banking system, she quickly realized that many employees didn’t know how to use a computer.
One woman in particular was very scared about not being able to learn and losing her job after more than four decades of working at the bank. Jenny met with this woman weekly, not only to help her learn the new system, but to hold space for her fears and anxiety about the future. This experience prompted Jenny to make career moves that would help guide and further develop her coaching journey.
